Graduate Scholarships College of Teacher Education and Leadership offers one-year scholarships to degree seeking graduate students. Deadline to apply April 18, 2008 Awards are for the 2008-2009 academic year. Application requirements: online application, personal statement, consent form. University Graduate Fellowships (Merit based scholarships) $2,500 maximum award.

    Eligibility
  • Must be in the Master’s program (non-certification) at ASU West campus.
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours per semester during the academic year.
  • Minimum 3.85 GPA.
  • Evidence of past and potential for future Leadership in the Educational field (i.e. research, honor, achievement awards).
CTEL Master and Certification Scholarship (need based) $1,500 maximum award.
    Eligibility
  • Must be in the Master’s and certification program the ASU West Campus.
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours per semester during the academic year.
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA.
  • Evidence of past and potential for future Leadership in the Educational field (i.e. research, honor, achievement awards).
  • Demonstration financial need. Must have FAFSA on file: http://fafsa.ed.gov/.
Nellie H. Jones Memorial Scholarship (amount to be determined)
    Eligibility
  • Must be a graduate student in the Master’s Program in the College of Teacher Education and Leadership (open to all CTEL master’s students).
  • Must be enrolled at ASU West.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • First preference is given to a female student
  • Financial need is not a factor

Graduate Grant-in-Aid Fellowship Program provides funding for financially needy graduate students. Funds may be used for tuition, books, and other educational expenses. No deadline. This is a need-based program. Accordingly, students must have a FAFSA on file and have unmet financial need. Students must be enrolled in a master's or doctoral degree program. Graduate GPA must be at least 3.0. Enrollment has to be for a minimum of six graduate-level credits per semester. Fellowship amounts depend upon the student's unmet financial need (in accordance with federal guidelines) and funding availability.
