Current Students
Following admission into a specific program and specialization, each student will be assigned a faculty advisor. Each student must meet with this faculty advisor or the graduate advisor within the first 1/3 of their program to carefully plan a Program of Study. This Program of Study (POS) must be submitted online and will be reviewed and approved by the advisor, the Chair of Graduate Programs in Education, and the ASU Office of Graduate Studies. Following completion of M.Ed. coursework (usually in the last semester of the program), each student pursuing the M.Ed. degree is required to complete a comprehensive exam or applied project. Consult with your advisor regarding which graduation requirement is appropriate for you. See the regulations for the Ed.D. program for information on the doctoral comprehensive exam and other requirements.
