Department of Graduate Studies and Professional Development
Vision
The Department of Graduate Studies and Professional Development (GSPD) leads the creation and improvement of graduate programs in the College of Teacher Educational and Leadership at ASU's West campus.
Purposes
GSPD currently manages the M.Ed. in Educational Administration and Supervision and the new Doctor of Education in Leadership and Innovation. It also helps to staff cross-college M.Ed. courses in foundations (research, psychology, and history) and educational technology. It provides support and coordination for the operation, staffing, evaluation, and improvement of M.Ed. programs offered by other departments in the College.
