Interns
Interns(pre-student teaching) learn by watching the modeling of classroom strategies, tutoring individual students and small groups, completing assignments for university coursework, and developing a file of curriculum materials. They assume many responsibilities that will benefit and help them learn about the expectations of a teaching professional. The culminating internship is student teaching (Block 4).
Mentor-coaches of interns:

Model to student interns and coach them in classroom strategies including discipline techniques

Supervise, support, and encourage interns

Allow interns to tutor or teach small groups or entire classes when appropriate

Provide formal and informal feedback to interns
