Preparation for Student Teaching
If you are planning on Student Teaching during the Spring 2009 semester, you must:
- Return an Application form for Student Teaching to the Advising Office by Friday, August 29, 2008.
- Academic Advising reviews your application to make sure that all classes have been taken, transcripts have been received, and program of study changes have been filed.
- If you are approved to student teach, pick up and submit your Request for Student Teaching Field Placement (golden) form by October 3, 2008.
- If you have not been approved to student teach, it will be necessary to meet with an advisor and take the necessary steps to comply with the requirements before proceeding with student teaching.
- You will be notified of your student teaching placement prior to the Student Teacher Orientation on Friday, January 16, 2009 prior to beginning to student teach.
