M.Ed. Special Education
Specializations available are:
- Masters and Certification:
for those seeking Arizona teacher certification. It is designed for those with bachelor's degrees who wish to earn an M.Ed. degree along with cross-categorical special education certificate K-12 and elementary certification (grades 1-8).
- Infants and Young Children with Disabilites:
Designed to prepare individuals to work with children birth to five years old with disabilities and developmental vulnerabilities.
- Collaboration and Consultation
Emphasis on collaboration and consultation, designed with the assistance of a faculty advisor to meet the student's professional and career goals.
Admission Requirements
In addition to the basic requirements for admission to graduate studies at ASU, admission to all but the M.Ed. with Certification requires a provisional or standard teaching certificate. Please include a description of your teaching certificate in the resume you will submit as part of the online application.
